CHARACTERS FROM "THE MAP MAKER"
THE ORIGINAL BORN OF FISTBUMP THE SKY
No one knew how much time had passed since the Great Frog left its creations to fend for themselves. He taught the demigods everything he knew, such as how to create followers from the ingredients mixed with the dough from which their world, Fistbump the Sky, grew.
This led to the creatures currently inhabiting the world being referred to as the Territory Borns, born after the territories were founded, or religions set in stone. However, our story is about the first ones created by the demigods, the ones who founded the territories, and the first to question their apparent destiny.
These are the Original Borns of Fistbump the Sky.

PEY
God of: Mystics & Stargazers
Territories: Pendla, Astro, Interstellar
Birth Seed: Peyote plant
Born from the seed of the infamous Peyote plant, Pey naturally created all the mystics and stargazers of Fistbump the Sky. Pey has one eye for every dimension and another to see dreams. Yet, despite its link to other worlds, Pey is incredibly annoying, often interrupting meditations and confusing constellation chartings. Pey also enjoys thrusting believers into different dimensions as personal entertainment.
Unsurprisingly, Pey’s believers pray for its knowledge and never its company.

Obumbu
Founded Territory: Hai-Kyun
Created by: Ag, god of creation and transformation
Made from: Marigold seed & Salt
Obumbu is the main protagonist and narrator of “The Map Maker.” Obumbu is a quiet character who failed to learn to speak and thus resorted to drawing his thoughts to communicate with his fellow creatures. He learned to speak in complete sentences later in life but prefers silence. Although many know Obumbu as the Map Maker, he was initially an illustrator who enjoyed capturing events around him. His best friend, Pit-Ma-Fro, would often write stories to accompany his sketches, and as both of their skills were creative, they became the founders of Hai-Kyun. It’s believed that having a natural inclination towards documenting, skills of illustration and the ability to see auras made Obumbu to perfect ambassador for The Great Migration.
