"THE MAP MAKER" CHARACTER INTRODUCTIONS
Happy New Year, dear traveller! Ready to go full throttle in 2025? A new year has begun which means it’s time for a new story with “The Map Maker.”
“The Map Maker” is a serialized story available for free for substack subscribers. We follow Obumbu, the map maker, as he relives his memories of how the first creatures founded the territories, how most of them survived the sinister fox’s attack. It’s is the story of how the world came to be what it is today.
No one knew how much time had passed since the Great Frog left its creations to fend for themselves. He took great care to teach the demigods everything he knew, such as how to create followers from the ingredients mixed with the dough from which their world, Fistbump the Sky, grew. Then, the Great Frog turned his back and never bothered with them again.
But before we read the story, let’s introduce ourselves to the characters on the official “The Mak Maker Characters” page, a new permanent feature at the top of the Fistbump the Sky newletter website. You can come here anytime to see which characters have been added to the story.
