An Allergy to Logic
An update on life and writing
As you could tell from the title, I am allergic to logic. In fact, the allergy is so severe that I recently found myself on an unexpected writing hiatus.
Hello, fantasy lovers. You might have wondered what happened to the Fistbump the Sky newsletter. I was happily preparing products for an online store when it occurred to me that selling products at markets might be a good idea. I had considered this before, but this time, it was like a shouting motel sign.
There was no doubt about it – I needed to become a vendor.
I quickly realised that vendor applications open months early, not two weeks. I also needed to send photos of the products and the booth display. Thus, with summer around the corner, I began making products for an in-person and an online store. At the same time.
Needless to say, burnout soon became a familiar companion. I like to think that the spirits took pity on me because I found a market that is even more in line with Fistbump the Sky. The application dates also gave me more preparation time than any of the others. Best of all, because of the initial rush, all the products are now complete. Yes, for both an online store and in person.
This tough production cycle has been posted on Instagram for anyone curious about the behind-the-scenes process. I'm also happy to say that the fourth chapter of the Fantastical Encyclopedia of the Imagined World of Fistbump the Sky will soon be under way.
See you soon with more fantasy stories and world explorations.
